Programming Civil Society Media in the Netherlands, An Exemplary Guide, by Syb Groeneveld
The first part of this book analyzes how civil society enters and opens the media landscape of commercial and public service media. It explains how organisations, groups and projects which fit into the basic non-state non commercial model of civil society, produce media and e-services. They form a new online social midfield.
A further analysis of the projects and their services is made in chapter four. The book introduces the term ‘Civil e-services’ which refers to services that are not market or profit driven but intended to have value for specific community of users. It turns out that many Civil Society Media projects transform to social entrepreneurs which develop, implement & market succesful civil e-services.

Lijkt me prima leesvoer en misschien ook wel weer een persoon waar we ons licht moeten gaan opsteken in het kader van krachten bundelen.
